Google Apps Not Working On Mobile Data Issue: How I Fixed It

Turned the mobile data on and then went to the play store, it's not connecting to the internet and shows an error that the network is not connected.

Next went to youtube the same thing happened.

And this mobile data not working error is repeated in all the google apps like chrome, drive, and anything that is a product of Google.

Here are the things I did to fix this frustrating error of google apps not working on mobile data.

It is an error that has been now showing on many phones.

This setting has helped me to fix the issue and should possibly work for you if your device's google apps like google chrome, play store, Youtube, etc not working on mobile data but work on wifi.

You need to make sure that you have a working mobile data connection and a device that has data pack recharged in it before applying this error fix that I am going to share with you.

You need to follow these steps carefully, a wrong setting can spoil your entire mobile data connection and at worst your calling facility of sim too. You will be needed to visit your service provider's office if anything bad like that happens to possibly fix it.

This has worked on my android phone with BSNL sim and I am not sure whether it will work for other network operators and phones. You can try it and see it yourself.

Google Apps Not Working On Mobile Data: Steps To Follow To Fix It:-

• First of all, you need to open the settings of your phone.
• And then you need to find Cellular networks(the name may be different on different phones) and tap on it.
• From there, you will see an option of APNs, click on that.
• Now you will see different APNs listed, from these select the one that is selected default(eg: In the BSNL network, it shows BSNL PORTAL as the default APN so I will click on it.)
• There you will see some things like Name, port, proxy, like that. Change these things as shown below:

Proxy: Not Set

Port: Not set

Username: Not Set

Password: Not set

Server: Not set

MMS: Not Set

You do not want to change any other APN settings other than these, leave those as it is.

After this, it will be better if you reboot your device.

This setting should possibly fix your android device's google apps not working on mobile data error. It has worked for me :)
