1. Hear WhatsApp Voice Messages With Privacy

You are in a public place, but you need to hear a voice message that has been sent to you with privacy. what you might be doing now will be to lower the volume of the phone and hear the message. But there is a better way to do it, you need to play the message and hold the phone close to your ears like you are calling someone. it will make the voice message be heard only in the front speaker of your phone like when you are calling.

2. Pause WhatsApp Status Without Holding

When you view a WhatsApp status and want to pause it, you might be holding the screen with your finger for that. There's another way to do it, you need to tap the screen with three fingers at the same time while viewing the WhatsApp status. This will also pause the WhatsApp status and you don't want to keep holding the screen.

3. Save Storage & Data

You can save your data and storage capacity by turning off auto downloads on WhatsApp. For this, you need to go to WhatsApp>3 Dots>Settings>Storage and data>Media auto-download.

you will see three options:- when using mobile data, when using wifi and when using roaming.  Select each one of them and you may untick photos, audio, videos and documents. This will prevent automatic downloading of them helping you to save data and storage. [if you leave any of them (photos, videos, audio, documents) ticked they will get downloaded automatically, it is your personal preference]

4. Different Text Styles

You can add different styles like bold, italic, strikethrough and monospace to the texts you send on WhatsApp. For this select the text by holding on it for a moment, now you will be able to see options like cut, copy, bold, italic, etc above the selected text. you will also see 2 dots next to them, click on that for strikethrough and monospace options. Selecting bold, italic, etc will add that particular style to the text. TEXT IN STYLE!

5. Pin Chats

You can pin a particular person's or group's chat to the top so that you don't miss messages from that person or group. This is particularly useful for people who get a lot of messages from people and groups. For pinning a chat, open WhatsApp and long press above the chat you want to get pinned, now you will see a pin icon on top of your screen, just click on it.
