Using This New Close Friends Feature of Instagram
Here are the steps you need to follow to use this new feature effectively:
- First of all, go to your profile and tap on the three lines.
- Next, tap on close friends option and you will able to choose who you want to select as close friends.
- The app itself will suggest you the close friends- the ones you have engaged the most in the suggestions tab and you are also able to search for the users with the search tab too.
- Select the friends by clicking on the add button and you're done.
You have successfully created the close friends' list that you can choose whenever you create your next story that you want to seen by only a few of your followers.
The stories you share with the close friends have a green color circle around it rather than a usual pink color.
You are only able to create one close friend's list in the app, which means that you could not create one for family, another for friends, like that. The reason behind this is that the platform had realized that people do not tend to use this new feature when there are multiple choices.
