This trick can be useful for you if you have a WhatsApp friend who had turned off read recipients. Using this, you can know whether the person is not reading your message or just reading and ignoring it.

Here is what you need to do:

Send a WhatsApp audio to that person, try to make it as small as possible(about 1 second).

If the person reads the message and ignores it, you will see a blue tick.

Otherwise, it will be still grey in colour, that means you are not getting ignored.

#2. Whatsapp Chat Shortcut

This will be useful for you if you have a friend that you chat almost everytime. Using this, you can create a shortcut for that particular person's chat on your home screen.

Here is what you need to do:

Tap and hold the contact for a few seconds, a popup window will appear.
In it, select "Add Conversation Shortcut".

You have successfully created a shortcut for that contact's WhatsApp chat.
